ABOUT US
As Harvard’s oldest undergraduate finance organization, the Harvard Investment Association is dedicated to providing members with a rigorous and engaging education in investing and finance. HIA’s programming is designed to equip students with the analytical tools needed to evaluate investments, understand financial markets, and explore careers across the financial services industry.

The HIA experience begins with the introductory comp, a semester-long educational program that introduces members to the fundamentals of investing. Upon completing the comp, participants become members of HIA and gain access to the organization’s full slate of programming, including the Fund, mentorship program, and professional development opportunities.

Board members take an active role in shaping the club’s educational programming and community, and are responsible for managing the HIA Fund. Members are encouraged to engage with board members for guidance on the comp, the Fund, and professional development.
